Private Equity & Pre-IPO Investment
Private equity and pre-IPO investments can offer exciting and very lucrative opportunities to a particular type of investor. To gain access to these types of opportunities a client must be qualified under one of the Eligible Investor categories such as Sophisticated Investor or an Experienced Investor. Certain clients of Centre Capital Securities can apply to be qualified as an Eligible Investor. Eligible Investors will gain access to pre-IPO and other investment opportunities, including listed share placements, which are unavailable to retail investors.
Private Placements to Eligible Investors
An investor that is capable of making an investment decision without the need to consider a disclosure statement/prospectus may obtain a benefit over conventional retail investors, as they may qualify to participate in “institutional” or “wholesale” placements of securities. From time to time Centre Capital Securities has access to these types of investment opportunities.
